Getting started

Even if you've never used Locktronics before, getting started can be very simple.


You can either choose one of our introductory kits or build your own simple circuits by selecting a baseboard and some components.

Here are a few introductory kits you may like to start with:

Basic Electricity and Electronics Kit (KITLK51)
A graded series of experiments into the fundamental principles of electricity and electronics.

Electricity and Magnetism Kit (KITLK77)
Provides a comprehensive range of practical assignments into electricity and magnetism. Ideal for vocational students, secondary school students up to 14 years of age (Key Stages 2 and 3). [view datasheet]

Primary Kit (KITLK05)
A selection of electrical components, connecting leads and a baseboard to provide a self-contained package for teaching basic electricity for students up to 11 years of age (Key Stage 2).

Simple Electrical Investigations Kits (KITLK10)
Provides a structured series of practical assignments for teaching basic electricity at an introductory level.
